1. Overview
This policy explains what information is processed, for what purpose, how long it is retained, and what rights you have when using the mobile game Spider Nest - Idle Spider Life (the "app") provided by the Spider Nest team (the "operator"). We comply with applicable laws in your region, including the Korean Personal Information Protection Act and the EU GDPR.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
- Account information — the app has no sign-up or login and never asks for your name, e-mail, or phone number.
- Game progress — saves (spider growth, webs, lineage and gene records, etc.) are stored only in your device's local storage and are never transmitted. Deleting the app deletes them.
- Location — the app does not request location permissions.
- Contacts, photos, microphone, camera — the app does not request these permissions.
The app may use your device's motion (accelerometer) sensor for the dew-shaking interaction. Sensor values are used instantly on-device only to detect shakes and are never stored or transmitted.
3. Information Processed by Third-Party Services
3-1. Google AdMob (advertising)
The app uses the Google AdMob SDK to display ads. AdMob may collect and process the following to serve ads, prevent fraud, and (with consent) personalize ads:
- Advertising ID (ADID), approximate location based on IP address, and device information such as model and OS version
- Ad interaction records such as views and clicks
In regulated regions such as the EEA and the UK, you can choose whether to consent to personalized ads via Google's consent platform (UMP). Declining does not limit gameplay (non-personalized ads are shown). See the Google Privacy Policy and how AdMob uses data.
4. Retention and Deletion
We do not store your personal information on our own servers. Retention of data processed by AdMob follows Google's policies. On-device game data is removed when you delete the app.
5. Children's Privacy
The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads are served in accordance with Google Play Families and AdMob policies.
6. Your Rights
- You can reset your Advertising ID or limit ad personalization in your device settings.
- Deleting the app removes all on-device game data.
- Users in regulated regions can change their ad consent in the in-app privacy options.
7. Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page. For significant changes we may additionally notify you via app release notes.
